River Park Pavilion Breaks Ground
Jul 22, 2019

A major amenity of the Aperture neighborhood has broken ground. The cornerstone of the homeowners’ private river park is a covered multi-use pavilion currently under construction. The stone and wood pavilion features flagstone entrances from two sides and a large fireplace. The pavilion can be used for HOA gatherings, as well as family events.

In addition to the pavilion, the homeowners’ river park will include a large boulder fire pit with seating, a recreation lawn, an ADA accessible walkway, and river access via generous terraced steps to accommodate both boating and fishing access. The natural landscape will be preserved and enhanced with plantings of native trees, grasses and wildflowers.

The river park is designed for homeowners to have easy access to enjoy Aperture’s 1,100 feet of Slate River frontage. Popular ways to explore this meandering waterway include canoes, inflatable kayaks, and stand up paddle boards, or SUP’s. From fishing to floating, the Slate River offers incredible recreational opportunities for Aperture’s homeowners.
